Biography


Albert Einstein was a German-born theoretical physicist who is widely regarded as one of the most influential scientists of the 20th century. He was born on March 14, 1879, in Ulm, Germany. Einstein is best known for his theory of relativity and his famous equation E=mc², which showed the equivalence of mass and energy. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1921 for his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect. Einstein died on April 18, 1955, in Princeton, New Jersey.
